It has been officially confirmed that Innocent Emeghara will be playing for Livorno in the upcoming season. Livorno, newly promoted to Serie A, announced the arrival of the Swiss international striker, who was previously with Siena. Emeghara’s move to Livorno is structured as a loan, with an option to buy at the end of the season.
Last season, Emeghara scored seven goals in Serie A while playing for Siena. The 24-year-old forward, of Nigerian origin, had been purchased by Siena from Lorient at the end of his loan last season. Despite interest from Celtic Glasgow, Livorno successfully secured Emeghara’s services for the upcoming Serie A campaign.
