Liverpool has officially confirmed on their Twitter account that they have loaned Oussama Assaidi to Stoke City for one year. The Moroccan striker, who joined Anfield in August of the previous year, had limited playing time and expressed a desire for more opportunities.
Despite recent rumors linking him to Anderlecht, Assaidi will now join Stoke City for the upcoming season. In the previous season, the Atlas Lion featured in 12 matches for Liverpool.
