Germany-born forward of Cameroonian descent, Jessic Ngankam, has completed a loan move to Austrian Bundesliga club, Wolfsberger AC.

The 25-year-old attacker joins the Lavanttal club on loan from Bundesliga side Eintracht Frankfurt until the end of the season.

Ngankam has been under contract with the Hessian club since the summer of 2023, but saw very little playing time in the autumn after recovering from a broken tibia and fibula.

Last season, the former German U21 international was on loan to Hannover 96 in the second division, where he scored four goals and provided two assists in 28 appearances.

The 1.84m tall right-footed striker will play for the Wolfpack until the end of the season, wearing number 24 in Lavanttal.

Speaking after sealing the move, Jessic Ngankam shared his delight, stressing that he is eager to achieve success in Austria.

“I’m happy to be here and that the transfer worked out. I’m looking forward to getting to know the team and having a successful spring together,” said Jessic Ngankam as quoted on the Wolfsberger AC website.
