French Ligue 1 outfit Paris FC have completed the acquisition of Ivory Coast teenage sensation Patrick Zabi, marking a significant step in his football career.
While the agreement is now in place, the young Ivorian will not make the immediate switch to the French capital, as he is set to remain with Stade Reims until the end of the current campaign.
“Paris FC is pleased to announce an agreement for the signing of Patrick Zabi from Stade de Reims,” said the Parisian club, formalizing the transfer of the young Ivorian.
The move underlines Paris FC’s intent to continue investing in young, high-potential talents as they build for the future.
Zabi only joined Reims in January 2025 after arriving from Ivoirian side Ivoire FC. Upon his arrival in France, he was first integrated into Reims’ reserve setup, where he worked his way up through consistent performances and rapid adaptation to European football. His progress did not go unnoticed, and he was soon rewarded with a promotion to the senior squad.
The midfielder made his Ligue 1 debut in February, marking a significant milestone in his young career. Since then, he has featured twice in France’s top division, gaining valuable experience at the highest level and showcasing glimpses of his potential.
For now, Zabi will continue his development with Reims, focusing on finishing the season strongly before officially linking up with Paris FC ahead of next season. The move represents an important step forward for the Ivorian youngster, who will be hoping to make a lasting impact once he arrives in the capital.
