Didier Six, the coach of Togo’s national football team, has revealed a list of 25 players for the last match of the 2014 World Cup qualifiers against DR Congo. The selection includes a mix of players from the local championship and expatriates, excluding notable names such as Emmanuel Adebayor and Kossi Agassa.
The list features players like Djehani from Dyto, the reigning Togo champion, and Claude Koutob from Anges de Notsè, the club leading the championship in the off-season. Adebayor and Romao are not part of this selection.
Togo and DR Congo are already eliminated from qualifying for the 2014 World Cup in Brazil. The national team has only secured one point from five matches played. The match against DR Congo will serve as the concluding fixture for both teams in the World Cup qualification campaign.
