Chinese Super League side Wuhan Three Towns have completed the acquisition of Cameroonian international, Basile Mbouri Yamkam in the current transfer window, marking a significant new phase in his professional career.
The 28-year-old has now brought his five-year spell in Serbia to an end, where he established himself as a key figure at FK Radnički Niš in the Serbian top flight.
Yamkam became a mainstay in the squad after joining he club in 2021, earning a reputation for his consistency, physical presence and defensive reliability.
The move sees Yamkam make the jump to Asia, where he will test himself in the Chinese Super League for the first time in his career.
During his time with Radnički Niš, Yamkam featured in 142 competitive matches, contributing three goals and nine assists across all competitions. His durability and versatility at the back made him one of the club’s most dependable performers over multiple seasons.
Yamkam began his professional journey in Cameroon with PWD Bamenda, where his performances earned him a move to Europe. His development in Serbia over the past five years has now paved the way for this latest transfer, as he looks to make an impact in China and continue his upward career trajectory.
