Premier League giants Chelsea are looking to recall Senegal defender Mamadou Sarr from his loan spell at French outfit, Strasbourg.
The Blues are keen about strengthening their defense for the remainder of the current campaign, as the club battle to win laurels at the expense of their opponents.
However, the London-based club are said to be working to terminate his loan deal at Strasbourg, allowing the Senegalese defender to rejoin the Blues in the current transfer window.
Mamadou Sarr, who joined the French outfit before the commencement of the current campaign has established himself as a key member of the team. The 20-year-old young centre-back has made 17 appearances across competitions, but he is yet to score or register an assists for the cub this season.
The Senegalese youngster worked under current Chelsea manager, Liam Rosenior at Strasbourg, who recently left the club. Aware of his capabilities, Rosenior is reportedly poised to bring back th4e defender to London before the transfer window shuts.
Mamadou Sarr signed a long-term contract with the two-time Champions League winners, with his current contract expected to expire in summer 2033.
