The Nigerian international, who played a crucial role in Nigeria’s victory in the last Africa Cup of Nations (CAN), will continue his football career in the Turkish championship with the newly promoted side. Following a successful medical examination, the 23-year-old defender signed a four-year contract. His former club, Sunshine Stars, will receive 650,000 euros in the transfer. Despite previous rumors linking him to Lille, Oboabona, whose name has also circulated in connection with Arsenal and Valenciennes, is set to make his first move abroad.
