Sadio Diallo has officially joined Lorient on loan for the season with an option to buy. The Guinean international, who was previously with Rennes, still had a contract until 2016. The move was confirmed by both clubs, and Diallo is expected to get more playing time at Lorient. Rennes’ coach, Philippe Montanier, mentioned that Diallo played little last season, and this move would provide him with an opportunity to showcase his talent in a team coached by Christian Gourcuff.
