Yesterday, we officially announced that Matt Moussilou is set to join the African Club in Tunisia. This move has been confirmed by his previous club, Lausanne-Sport, on their official website.
In a statement, FC Lausanne-Sport conveyed that their Congolese striker, Matt Moussilou, has been released from his employment contract to facilitate his transition to Club Africain in Tunisia. Having joined Lausanne-Sport in January 2011, Moussilou played a pivotal role in securing promotion just four months later. After 73 matches and 17 goals in the blue and white jersey, he bids farewell to LS. FC Lausanne-Sport expressed gratitude for his 31 months at the club and extended best wishes for his future endeavors.
The African Club has also officially confirmed the acquisition of the Congolese player. At the age of 30, Matt Moussilou is set to embark on his “last four, five good years in football” with Club Africain.
