Juventus have launched a fresh and unexpected attempt to re-sign Randal Kolo Muani, exploring the possibility of bringing the French forward back to Turin as the transfer window edges toward its conclusion.
The Serie A giants remain well aware of Kolo Muani’s long-standing affection for the club, having spent the second half of last season on loan in Italy.
That stint had raised expectations of a longer stay, either through a renewed loan or a permanent deal, but negotiations failed to progress over the summer. With options limited, the forward instead opted for a move to Tottenham, viewing it as the most viable path to regular football.
However, the French international of Congolese descent’s spell in north London has yet to fully take off. On loan from Paris Saint-Germain, he has struggled to consistently meet expectations, and Spurs are not currently planning to trigger the option that would make his move permanent at the end of the season.
That uncertainty has opened the door for Juventus to revisit a player they still admire.
Any deal, though, is complicated by timing and Tottenham’s own squad needs. With the window entering its final days, Spurs are reluctant to allow Kolo Muani to leave unless a suitable replacement is secured, and there is a growing recognition internally that the clock may work against them.
Juventus’ renewed interest follows a frustrating search for attacking reinforcements. Attempts to land Jean-Philippe Mateta and Youssef En-Nesyri came up short, prompting the club to circle back to Kolo Muani.
