Zamalek Club is nearing a deal to extend the contract of midfielder Ahmed Hamdi, keeping him at the White Castle for the foreseeable future as part of the club’s strategy to retain key players.
A source close to the club confirmed that negotiations have progressed significantly, with agreement reached on the main terms of the new contract.
The official signing is expected to be completed within the next few days.
The same source added that Hamdi’s renewal could span up to three seasons.
Zamalek’s management is set to meet with the midfielder soon to finalize the contract before announcing the extension through the club’s official channels.
