Ghana international Ibrahim Osman marked his debut for Birmingham City in the English Championship stalemate against Stoke City at the weekend.
Osman walked straight into the starting lineup as his outfit played out a 1-1 draw with Stoke City in the round 29 fixture, held at the St. Andrew’s @ Knighthead Park.
The 21-year-old winger joined Birmingham City on loan in the current winter window from Brighton and Hove Albion. The Premier League outfit cut short Osman’s loan spell at French side Auxerre, where he featured in 14 Ligue 1 matches and provided two assists.
In his first appearances for the club, the talented Ghanaian forward lasted 56 minutes and showcased glimpses of good performances for the club.
Birmingham City broke the deadlock in the 42nd-minute mark through Tomoki Iwata, as the host went to the halftime break with the advantage.
Putting on a stellar performance, the visitors pulled parity in the 71st-minute following an own goal from Phil Neumann.
Osman’s arrival adds further depth to Birmingham City forward line, who are poised to make a meaningful impact in the current campaign. The Ghanaian attacker will be hoping for a swift adaptation at the club in order to make impact.
