The third edition of the UFOA (Union of West African Federations) Zone B Cup is scheduled to take place from October 24 to November 3, 2013, in Accra, Ghana. This competition brings together local teams from the seven countries in the region (Ghana, Ivory Coast, Burkina Faso, Nigeria, Niger, Benin, Togo). However, this year, there will be eight participating teams as Mauritania, a member of UFOA A, has been invited by UFOA B. The Football Federation of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania (FFRIM) accepted the invitation, providing them an opportunity to prepare for the upcoming CHAN tournament for which the Mourabitounes qualified.
