Marseille had a strong start to the French League with a 3-1 victory against Guingamp. Giannelli Imbula, who faced his former team, expressed his happiness with the warm reception he received from the crowd.
“I was touched by the public’s reception. I wish En Avant a good season. We put a lot of presence and entry pressure, and that made the difference,” said the former Guingamp player in the mixed zone after the match.
Giannelli Imbula, who was the best player in Ligue 2, was transferred to Marseille in June.
