Granddi Ngoyi, the defensive midfielder, is leaving Troyes after the team’s relegation to Ligue 2 last season. Instead of staying in France, Ngoyi has opted to play in Italy’s Serie B. He has signed a four-year deal with Palermo, a Sicilian club also relegated to Serie B. The 25-year-old Franco-Congolese player will be under the management of the legendary Gennaro Gattuso during the upcoming season. Ngoyi explained that he chose this move to experience something new, including a different culture, language, and football approach. Before joining Troyes, he played for Paris SG, Clermont, Brest, and Nantes.
