AS FAR are set to face Algerian side JS Kabylie on Saturday at Hussein Ait Ahmed Stadium at 5:00 PM, in the third round of the group stage of the CAF Champions League.
The match promises to be a challenging encounter for both sides.
Ahead of the showdown, CAF has entrusted the officiating duties to a Rwandan refereeing team, led by referee Abdoul Karim Twagiromukiza. He will be assisted by Deo Donny Mutwiyimana as the first assistant referee and Didier Ishimwe as the second assistant referee.
The fourth official for the match will be Ruruisa Patience Fideli, forming a completely Rwandan crew that reflects CAF’s confidence in East African referees to handle this important fixture.
Currently, AS FAR sits on one point in the group, having drawn 1-1 against Egypt’s Al-Ahly in Rabat.
They also suffered a narrow 1-0 away defeat to Tanzania’s Young Africans, making Saturday’s match a crucial opportunity to improve their standing in the competition.
