Adel Taarabt, the Moroccan midfielder, has officially confirmed his departure from Queens Park Rangers (QPR) to Fulham on loan. The player is set to undergo a medical examination before officially joining Fulham for the upcoming season under the management of Martin Jol.
“I’m happy to find Martin Jol who bought me from Lens when he was coaching Tottenham and then tried to recruit me when he was on the bench for Ajax and Hamburg,” said Taarabt. He expressed his joy at staying in London, a city where he has lived for seven years.
Under contract with QPR until June 2016, Taarabt may continue his football journey for an extended period with Fulham, depending on the club’s decision to exercise the purchase option at the end of the season.
