Oussama Darragi, Yannick N’Djeng, and the list continues to grow of players who struggle to establish themselves in the Swiss championship. Merely six months after leaving Parc B for FC Sion, Yannick N’Djeng has decided to return to Espérance de Tunis. The Cameroonian striker has recently signed a new 3-year contract with the Sang et Or.
This move follows in the footsteps of another player, Tunisian Oussama Darragi, who also returned to Tunisia after facing challenges at FC Sion. Yannick N’Djeng, affectionately nicknamed “la Bomba,” had previously showcased his talent in the Tunisian championship from July 2011 to December 2012 before venturing to Switzerland.
His new contract is set to expire on June 30, 2016. Espérance de Tunis is hopeful that N’Djeng’s return will contribute to their success in quickly qualifying for the African Champions League.
