The season is not starting well for Samuel Eto’o and his Anzhi Makachkala teammates. In an early match on the fourth day of the Russian football championship played this Friday, the Dagestan club suffered a home defeat against FC Rostov (0-1). The sole goal of the match was scored by Gabonese player Kanga Kaku Guelor in the 52nd minute.
With two draws and two defeats, Anzhi currently occupies the 12th position in the Russian rankings, which is currently led by Spartak Moscow.
