Elie Taktouk, the ex-husband of Cesc Fabregas’ partner Daniella Semaan, took legal action to contest the sale of his house in the Belgravia district of London to the Barcelona FC midfielder. Dissatisfied with the offer made by Fabregas, Taktouk sought the cancellation of the sale, claiming that the offer was below market price.
Taktouk demanded £7.5 million (€8.6 million), while Fabregas offered £5.475 million (€6.3 million). However, the judges rejected Taktouk’s request, compelling him to sell the house at Fabregas’ price. In an attempt to convince the judges, Semaan argued that her children could live in the house if it was purchased by her new partner.
Despite this, the house will be rented out by Fabregas and Semaan to recover their investment, as it won’t be used for the intended purpose of the children living there.
