At the age of 35, Didier Drogba is considering the possibility of ending his football career in Major League Soccer (MLS), according to his teammate Salomon Kalou. The Galatasaray striker reportedly has a strong affinity for the United States and has expressed a desire to work there.
Kalou shared insights, saying, “He loves America, he always goes there for vacations, and it’s a place he’s always loved. For him, working there would be an incredible experience. I think that’s his goal and that’s where he wants to end his career. He didn’t tell me directly, but he told me that ending up in New York or Los Angeles would be an incredible experience. I know it’s on his mind right now. He would like to end his career there.”
Kalou sees MLS as a positive option for Drogba due to its development as a football championship, and he believes Drogba, known for making a significant impact wherever he goes, would contribute meaningfully to the league.
