It’s now official since Saturday, and Sporting Club de Bastia has confirmed the signing of Romaric, an Ivorian midfielder with an impressive international reputation. The announcement was made on Wednesday evening through the club’s website, stating that Romaric has joined on a one-year contract, with the option for an additional season if he continues to perform well.
Romaric, also known as Koffi N’Dri Romaric, gained recognition during his time at Le Mans before becoming a key player for the Ivorian national team while playing in Spain. He arrives at Sporting Club de Bastia as a free agent, having recently concluded his contract with the Spanish team Zaragoza. The negotiations, which saw the midfielder joining Bastia, picked up speed in recent days, following confirmed contacts from the club’s coach, Frédéric Hantz.
Having previously played in France with Le Mans from 2005 to 2008, Romaric is not new to the French football scene. Subsequently, he ventured into Spanish football, representing notable clubs like Sevilla FC and Espanyol Barcelona. His wealth of experience and international success make him a significant addition to Sporting Club de Bastia’s roster.
