England teenager of Nigerian descent, Ethan Nwaneri, has reportedly travelled to France as he prepares to join Ligue 1 side Olympique Marseille on loan.
The young midfielder is set to complete the temporary move after receiving approval from his current club, Arsenal, according to journalist David Ornstein. The loan agreement does not include an option to buy.
Instead, the fee is performance-based and tied to the amount of playing time Nwaneri receives while at Marseille. A separate penalty clause, also linked to his minutes on the pitch, forms part of the arrangement.
