Bayern Munich are reportedly still willing to part ways with French-born defender of Cameroonian descent Sacha Boey, during the ongoing winter transfer window, as uncertainty continues to surround his future at the Allianz Arena.
Recent media reports suggest the 25-year-old right-back could leave the German champions as early as January, with several clubs closely monitoring his situation.
According to transfer insider Georg Holzner, Premier League side Everton, along with French clubs Olympique Lyon and Olympique Marseille, are among those keeping tabs on Boey.
Boey joined Bayern Munich from Galatasaray two years ago but has struggled to secure a regular place in the starting lineup, largely featuring as a substitute since his arrival. His limited game time has fueled speculation about a possible move away from the club.
Holzner further reports that Bayern remain open to selling the defender this month, a stance that keeps the door open for a winter departure. Such a move could provide Boey with the opportunity for increased playing time, while also allowing Bayern to create space within their squad.
For now, no final decision has been made, but developments in the coming weeks could determine whether Boey’s time in Munich comes to an early end.
