The Moscow derby in the Russian football championship turned into a goal-scoring spectacle, and Spartak Moscow continued its impressive start to the season. Following victories over Krylia Sovetov and Ural Oblast, Spartak convincingly defeated Dinamo 4-1 on the third day of the championship.
Spartak dominated the match, securing a comfortable lead by the end of the first half. Emmanuel Emenike netted a goal in the 30th minute, extending Spartak’s lead to 3-0. Other contributors to Spartak’s goal fest were Jurado, who scored twice in the 7th and 42nd minutes, and Yakovlev, finding the back of the net in the 12th minute. The only goal for Dinamo came from Voronin in the 81st minute through a penalty, reducing the deficit.
With this convincing win, Spartak Moscow now sits at the top of the championship table, having secured three consecutive victories in the early stages of the season.
