Unione Sportiva Sassuolo Calcio has reportedly expressed interest in signing Tunisian international striker Wahbi Khazri from Bastia. The Italian club, recently promoted to Serie A, is said to have made an offer for the player. However, Bastia remains reluctant to let Khazri go. The 22-year-old, under contract until 2015 with Bastia, has expressed a desire to join Saint-Etienne, with whom he has already agreed on a four-year contract. The transfer has been delayed due to ongoing disagreements between Bastia and Saint-Etienne regarding the terms of payment for Khazri’s transfer fee. Despite the situation, Khazri has refused to play for Bastia.
