Having joined Marseille at the beginning of July, Gianelli Imbula is the club’s third signing. Despite the added pressure that comes with such accolades, Imbula remains unfazed.
He expresses his perspective, stating, “It’s not pressure because it’s not a lie. If we said false things, I would put myself under pressure, I would say to myself: “How am I going to prove then that it is not true?” There, it’s true, I just have to stay natural, play my game, and it will slide like butter,” as he shared with L’Equipe. Imbula, a former Guingamp midfielder, emphasizes the importance of staying in France to continue his progression in Ligue 1.
