Turkish giants Galatasaray are reportedly targeting Egyptian forward Omar Marmoush in the ongoing January transfer window, as the striker’s future at Manchester City remains uncertain.
The 26-year-old attacker, whose agent George Jardy has been involved in discussions, is reportedly on Galatasaray’s radar for a loan deal until the end of the current season.
Marmoush, who joined Manchester City for €75 million, has struggled for consistent game time, appearing in 15 matches across all competitions but totalling just 389 minutes, with one goal and one assist to his name.
Despite the interest from Turkey, Marmoush is said to be hesitant about leaving the Premier League, with potential moves to Aston Villa or Tottenham also being considered.
Galatasaray, however, are preparing an official loan offer in hopes of securing the Egyptian star to bolster their attacking options for the remainder of the season.
The forward is currently in Morocco with the Egypt national team for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON). He has scored five goals for the Pharaohs ahead of their bronze medal battle with Nigeria’s Super Eagles on Saturday, January 17.
