The Board of Directors of Ismaily Sporting Club, led by Engineer Nasr Abu Al-Hasan, convened this Saturday to address various matters concerning the club.
Among the decisions made during today’s meeting were:
1. Formation of Centennial Celebrations Committee: A high-level committee, comprising Dr. Abdelmonem Amara, Engineer Mahmoud Osman, representatives from the People’s and Shura Councils, a delegate from the Suez Canal Authority, a representative from Suez Canal University, a representative from Ismailia Governorate, and a representative from the Youth and Sports Directorate.
The committee has the authority to enlist additional expertise and establish specialized subcommittees to manage the centennial celebrations.
2. Referral of Previous Administration to Public Prosecution: The report submitted by the Administrative Committee (representatives from the Youth and Sports Directorate, acting club CEO, and the financial director) – Central Auditing Organization – Inspection Committee of the Ministry of Youth and Sports against the previous board led by Engineer Yahya Al-Koumi has been forwarded to the Public Prosecution.
3. Player Nour El-Zaman El-Zamouri’s Case to Public Prosecution: Due to the temporary committee’s negligence in taking legal actions in El-Zamouri’s matter, which resulted in financial losses of $592,363 and EGP 25,200 for the club, the case has been referred to the Public Prosecution.
4. Exclusive Club Program on Sada Al-Balad Channel: A dedicated two-hour program will air weekly starting February 9, providing financial returns to the club for advertising in the program.
5. Legal Action for Palestinian Player’s Complaint: Ahmed Fahim has been tasked with initiating legal proceedings to address the complaint filed by Palestinian player Saado Abdul Salam against the club in FIFA.
6. International Lawyer Appointment for Appeal: Ahmed Fahim is assigned to select an international lawyer to appeal FIFA’s decision in favor of Tunisian player Firas Shwati, which imposed a $902,000 fine on the club.
7. Public Auction for Catering and Players’ Hotel Area: A public bidding process will be initiated for the utilization of the catering area in Rada and the area behind the players’ hotel for investment purposes.
8. Approval for Illuminated Multi-Acrylic Stadium: The council received approval from the Minister of Youth and Sports for the construction of a lit multi-acrylic stadium, following agreements with the minister.
9. Limited Tender for Club Academies Nationwide: A closed-envelope bidding process will be launched to establish academies named after the club in all governorates, along with supporting some youth teams.
10. Signing Contracts with Young Players: Approval for the club to sign contracts with three young players – Mohamed Ahmed Khattari, Abdelrahman Shaaban, and Hamada Salah Muslim Ali, born in 2004 and 2005.
