Santos’ vice-president, Odilio Rodrigues, expressed the hope that both Robinho and AC Milan would be willing to lower their expectations regarding the transfer price. Rodrigues acknowledged the value that Robinho holds for Milan but emphasized the importance of finding a compromise to facilitate the deal.
A meeting between AC Milan and Santos is expected to take place, and it is anticipated that the transfer of the 29-year-old striker will be confirmed soon. Santos is reportedly prepared to offer six million euros for Robinho. If Milan maintains its asking price, Santos may explore the possibility of spreading the payment over multiple installments.
As Robinho moves closer to a potential return to Santos, AC Milan is reportedly considering Fiorentina’s Adem Ljajic as a replacement for the Brazilian forward.
