Dr. Ashraf Sobhi, the Minister of Youth and Sports, convened today at the ministry’s headquarters in the New Administrative Capital with Mr. Nasr Abu El-Hassan, the President of Ismaily Sporting Club.
The meeting, attended by representatives from both the ministry and the club, delved into several key aspects concerning the future trajectory of Ismaily SC.
Foremost on the agenda was the discussion regarding the handover of Ismaily’s social branch management to the club’s administration.
Additionally, the meeting touched upon various files related to the club, encompassing its marketing strategies, self-financing initiatives, administrative procedures, and plans for investment programs capable of generating internal revenue for the club.
Minister Sobhi underscored the ministry’s commitment to supporting Ismaily SC, recognizing it as a significant entity within Egypt’s sporting landscape.
He urged the club’s board to explore innovative mechanisms that would provide self-sustaining resources for the club’s expenditure on sports teams, activities, and projects.
Furthermore, the Minister expressed the ministry’s aspiration to expand talent scouting in football across youth centers, clubs, and villages of all age groups.
Various programs are being implemented to support, nurture, and discover talented individuals, channeling them into training academies for skill development.
These players would then be integrated into sports clubs as promising athletes, representing a core asset for national teams in various sports.
In response, Mr. Nasr Abu El-Hassan, President of Ismaily SC, expressed gratitude to the Egyptian government and the Ministry of Youth and Sports under the leadership of Dr. Ashraf Sobhi.
He commended the efforts directed towards advancing the Egyptian sports system, particularly in the fields of talent scouting and elevating players to clubs and national teams.
He acknowledged the vital role played by popular clubs like Ismaily in the broader sports community.
