Alain Traoré experienced a challenging first season with Lorient due to a series of injuries. Despite his impressive performances in the limited games he played, the Burkinabé forward faced setbacks. Lorient, however, is determined to retain their young striker and reportedly rejected an offer from Rubin Kazan. The Russian club’s bid, around ten million euros, was not pursued by Lorient, and Traoré remains under contract with the Breton club until 2016.
