The thief, identified as the niece of Thierno Seydi, allegedly gave the stolen check to her boyfriend, who then used the services of a prostitute. Investigations revealed that three other individuals benefited from the stolen funds, totaling an estimated 150 million CFA francs (approximately 228,700 euros).
