Issa Diop could be on his way back to Ligue 1, with Paris FC pushing to bring in the Fulham defender this winter.
The 28‑year‑old centre-back, who came through Toulouse’s academy and left the club in 2018, is now firmly on Paris FC’s radar as they look to reinforce their back line mid‑season.
French outlet L’Équipe reports that Diop has been identified as a priority target to strengthen the heart of the defense. Paris FC have already made initial contact with Fulham, signalling serious intent to strike a deal before the January window closes.
Diop remains under contract at Craven Cottage until 2027, which gives Fulham strong leverage in any negotiations. The Frenchman is understood to be open to returning home and playing in Ligue 1 again, but everything hinges on the financial package and conditions the Premier League club are willing to accept.
For Paris FC, landing a defender with Premier League and Ligue 1 experience would be a major statement, as they aim to add stability and leadership at the back during a crucial phase of the season.
