Toulouse Football Club stated, “Serge Aurier has just extended his contract for two years at Toulouse Football Club. The defender is now linked to the club until 2018.” Initially under contract until June 2016, the right-back extended his commitment for an additional two seasons.
Serge Aurier, who arrived at Toulouse in January 2012 from Lens, has established himself as an integral part of the team. The Ivorian international has become a key figure in the right-back position, making significant contributions during the season, including 28 starts and one goal. Aurier himself confirmed the news of the contract extension on his Twitter account.
