As a prelude to the event, the Togolese international was received by the Head of State, Faure Gnassingbe. Adebayor stated the importance of seeking the president’s blessing for his foundation, emphasizing that his country has given him a lot, and he aims to help his fellow citizens in various areas. The foundation’s objectives include providing a chance and improving the lives of people in need in Togo. Adebayor also mentioned a giant concert with international artists as part of the foundation’s launch.
