Randal Kolo Muani, the French international with roots in the Democratic Republic of Congo, has expressed his contentment at Tottenham Hotspur and hinted at a desire to make his move from PSG permanent, despite a challenging first half of the Premier League season.
The on-loan striker has quickly become an influential figure at Spurs, developing a strong relationship with manager Thomas Frank. Speaking to ESPN, Kolo Muani praised the working environment at the club.
“Yes, we have a good relationship,” he said. “We talk a lot together and he has good collaborators, so I’m happy with him. The whole team, my teammates, we have faith in the coach and everyone is happy with him. Now we’re working hard to get through this period as best as possible.”
Kolo Muani, 25, added that his immediate focus remains on performing consistently for Tottenham, with an eye on securing his place in France’s squad for the upcoming World Cup.
“I feel very good and my teammates are good with me. For now, I just want to play really well for the club. That’s really important, and then we’ll see about the World Cup,” he said. “That’s why I have to and want to show my qualities more, and I also want to score. We have to win more games, and if I want to go to the World Cup, I have to put in more good performances.”
With his African heritage and French international status, Kolo Muani represents a new generation of players balancing club ambition with national team aspirations. As Tottenham look to improve their standing in the league, the striker’s performances will be crucial both for the club and for his World Cup hopes.
