FECAFOOT: JOHN BEGHENI NDEH ANNOUNCES HIS TAKING OFFICE

Faca 300x225 1
It seems that the crisis within the Cameroonian Football Federation (Fécafoot) continues to evolve. The decision of the appeals commission to cancel the general assembly of June 19 has led to a situation where John Begheni Ndeh, the vice president of the former office, plans to resume his functions. The intention is for him to be installed in his office with the support of the police and security forces, and this move is anticipated to happen on the specified Friday.

The report suggests that John Begheni Ndeh is supported by various figures in Cameroonian football, including Daniel Blaise Ngos, a lawyer and secretary-general of the National Union of Cameroonian Footballers (Synafoc). According to Ngos, the decisions of Fécafoot’s jurisdictional bodies are immediately applicable, meaning that Ndeh has resumed his position as president of Fécafoot by law.

The article also highlights the potential costs of possible appeals to the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS). Adbouraman Hamadou, the president of Etoile Filante de Garoua, expresses a stance that only Iya Mohammed, the president at the center of the controversy, can appeal the decision. Importantly, Hamadou emphasizes that if someone decides to appeal, it should be done with their own funds and not from Fécafoot’s resources.

The situation appears complex, and the involvement of legal and jurisdictional bodies may play a crucial role in determining the resolution of the crisis within Fécafoot. For the latest developments, it is advisable to check more recent and local news sources.
