Manchester United have reportedly entered the race to sign highly rated Ivorian attacker Yan Diomande as interest in the young forward continues to grow across Europe.
Diomande has attracted significant attention on the transfer market following an outstanding first half of the season, with his performances generating widespread interest from some of the continent’s biggest clubs.
The 19-year-old is currently representing Ivory Coast at the ongoing Africa Cup of Nations, where his reputation has continued to rise.
The right-footed attacker has been in impressive form at club level, delivering consistent performances week after week. In his last seven Bundesliga matches, Diomande has found the back of the net six times while also providing three assists, underlining his attacking influence.
According to reports, clubs such as Bayern Munich, Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur have long been monitoring the talented forward. Now, sources report that Manchester United have also joined the list of suitors and are keeping a close watch on his development.
RB Leipzig, however, are said to have no intention of letting their prized asset leave cheaply. The German club are reportedly demanding up to €100 million for any potential transfer, with Diomande tied to a contract that runs until 2030.
