Laurent Blanc is aware of the linguistic challenges he may face in the Paris Saint-Germain locker room, as several players may not be fluent in the French language. The need for international communication is apparent.
During a press conference, journalist Eve Bartoli inquired about Blanc’s proficiency in the Italian language. Blanc, who succeeded Carlo Ancelotti, responded in Italian before switching to French, stating:
“I actually think that the Italian will be useful to me with certain players. But we are in France, so the speeches will be given in French. It would be good if the language spoken in the locker room was French. And that will be the case.”
Blanc, the former coach of the French national team, has signed a two-year contract with Paris Saint-Germain. His emphasis on French as the primary language in the locker room aligns with the team’s context and location.
