In a friendly match held this Tuesday afternoon at the club’s stadium, the first football team of Zamalek secured a resounding victory over Kuwait Youth, with a four-goal lead.
The scorers for Zamalek included Mahmoud Abdel Razek “Shikabala,” Mohamed El-Sayed, Mostafa Shalaby, and Sayed Abdullah “Neymar.”
The coaching staff of Zamalek started with a lineup comprising Mohamed Awad, Abdullah Gomaa, Mahmoud Hamdi “El Wensh,” Hamza El Mathlouthi, Omar Gaber, Mostafa Shalaby, Nabil Emad “Dunga,” Amr El Sisi, Mohamed El-Sayed, Mahmoud Abdel Razek “Shikabala,” and Samsun Akinola.
Mahmoud Abdel Razek “Shikabala” managed to secure the first goal for Zamalek in the third minute with a strike from the edge of the penalty area that nestled into the far right corner of Kuwait Youth’s goal, assisted by Samsun Akinola.
Adding to the tally, Mohamed El-Sayed, born in 2005, scored the second goal in the 25th minute following a ground pass from Samsun.
He directed the ball to the right of the guest team’s goalkeeper.
In the 44th minute, Mostafa Shalaby netted the third goal for Zamalek with a powerful shot from the edge of the penalty area.
This came after the team was awarded a direct free-kick on the outskirts of the box, passed by Shikabala to Mostafa Shalaby, who struck it forcefully into the right side of the net.
As the second half began, the coaching staff made several changes, introducing Hatem Skar, Mohamed Abdel Shafi, Ahmed Zaki, Mostafa El Zenary, Sayed Abdullah “Neymar,” Mohamed Hossam “Biso,” Mohamed Ashraf “Roqa,” Mostafa Shukry, Ibrahima Ndaye, and Nasser Mansi.
Later in the 62nd minute, Muaaz Alaa replaced Mohamed Awad, and in the 68th minute, Karim Abdel Hakek substituted for Mostafa Shukry.
Sayed Abdullah “Neymar” sealed the victory for the Whites with the fourth goal in the 76th minute, firing a shot from within the penalty area.
The match concluded with Zamalek winning convincingly with a four-goal margin.
