The Competitions Committee of the Egyptian Football Association has issued severe penalties regarding the match between Hurghada Youth Center and Nubasid Youth Center in the fourth division of the Buhaira football region.
The committee annulled Nubasid’s results and suspended them for a year from participating in the fourth division, imposing a financial penalty of 25,000 Egyptian pounds.
In addition to nullifying the team’s results in the second round of the league due to the recurrence of the incident and withholding the match points.
On the other hand, the Competitions Committee decided to deduct three points from Hurghada Youth Center at the end of the competition.
These decisions come in light of the failure of both teams to attend the match scheduled for January 13th.
The penalties underline the football authorities’ commitment to maintaining the integrity and discipline of the game, sending a clear message about the consequences of non-compliance with match schedules.
Such actions aim to uphold the principles of fair play and adherence to the regulations governing football competitions.
The suspension of Nubasid for a year and the financial penalty not only act as a deterrent but also serve as a reminder to all football clubs and teams to prioritize their commitments, contributing to the overall professionalism and credibility of football competitions in the Buhaira region.
