Laurent Blanc has been officially confirmed as the coach of Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) for the next two seasons (one year plus one year optional). The former coach of the French national team will take on the mission of continuing the trajectory initiated by PSG last year and leading the team to greater heights in European competitions. Blanc’s appointment was announced on Tuesday, concurrently with Carlo Ancelotti’s confirmation as the head coach of Real Madrid. After arriving in the capital on Monday, Blanc is expected to be presented shortly before rejoining his team on July 1 for the start of training at Clairefontaine.
