Club Brugge are being linked with a move for Trabzonspor winger Kazeem Olaigbe, with the Belgian-Nigerian reportedly on the radar of the Jupiler Pro League side as they assess wide options for upcoming windows.
The 22-year-old, valued at €5.00m on Transfermarkt, is currently on the books of Trabzonspor after joining the Süper Lig club from Stade Rennais. Transfermarkt lists the possibility of a switch to Club Brugge as a rumour, with no fee or contract details yet indicated and the probability of the move marked only as “?”.
Olaigbe, primarily a left winger who favours his right foot, has yet to see his contract situation at Trabzonspor publicly clarified. With no expiry date listed in the data, the lack of information could open the door to various scenarios in future windows, including the potential of him moving on for a reduced fee or, further down the line, leaving as a free agent, depending on how talks develop.
Born in Brussels on 2 January 2003, Olaigbe is eligible for both Belgium and Nigeria and has already built up a varied footballing education across several leagues. After coming through the Anderlecht youth system, he moved to Southampton’s academy, progressing from the U18s to the U21s and taking in loan spells at Ross County in Scotland’s top flight and Harrogate Town in England.
A move back to Belgium followed with Cercle Brugge in 2023 before his transfer to Rennes and then Trabzonspor, where his market value has continued to rise, reaching its current €5.00m level in December 2025.
Should a transfer to Club Brugge materialise, it would mark a return to the Belgian top flight for a player whose career has steadily climbed through different levels, and it could prove a pivotal step in determining whether he becomes a key figure in his home country’s league or pursues another move abroad in the coming years.
