Renowned international referee Ibrahim Nour El-Din has disclosed the reasons behind his decision to conclude his refereeing career at the conclusion of the current football season 2023-2024.
Speaking on the program “Al-Match,” hosted by Hani Hathout on “Sada Al-Balad” channel, Ibrahim Nour El-Din stated, “I have decided to end my refereeing career at the end of the season while I am at my best.”
He continued, “There was no agreement between me and the Referees Committee to retire in exchange for leading the international list.
I reached an agreement with a friend to retire when I am in the best technical condition.”
Ibrahim Nour El-Din emphasized, “No one dares to force me into retirement, and my continuation in refereeing hinders the progress of other referees who deserve the opportunity.”
