Gabonese midfielder Franck Engonga is set to make history by signing a contract with the legendary Argentine club Boca Juniors. The transfer is facilitated through a partnership between Engonga’s club CF Mounana and an Italian structure based in Parma, which represents Boca Juniors’ interests outside Argentina. Boca Juniors was impressed by Engonga’s performances during the Olympic football competition, leading to an invitation and a transport ticket for the Gabonese player to join the Argentine club. If the deal is finalized, it could bring financial benefits to CF Mounana, the reigning Gabonese champion. Engonga signed with CF Mounana for a five-year period in 2012.
