Bayern Munich unlikely to pursue Mohamed Salah signing amid speculation
Bayern Munich are not expected to make a move for Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah in the January transfer window, despite recent speculation linking the Egyptian star with a switch to the Bundesliga champions.
Salah’s situation at Liverpool has attracted attention in recent weeks, with reports suggesting limited playing time and growing uncertainty over his future at Anfield. This has fueled rumours of a possible exit, with Bayern Munich mentioned as a potential destination, though such a move appears far from realistic.
Insiders close to the situation have played down the likelihood of a transfer to Munich. It is understood that the main reason Bayern Munich will not pursue the move is due to the many attackers in the team.
Within Bayern’s camp, there is also little appetite to disrupt the club’s current structure. Sporting director Max Eberl addressed the rumours on DAZN, stressing the club’s commitment to its emerging talents.
“We have an outstanding talent in Lennart Karl. Putting someone ahead of him now wouldn’t make any sense,” he said.
