The former Free State Stars player, who engaged in discussions about his contract following the agreement between the two teams, is set to stay in South Africa for a brief period to address some remaining details before returning to Lomé for the remainder of his vacation.
Despite receiving interest from certain European clubs, the former Maranatha player has committed to a 3-year contract with Mamelodi Sundowns, with an additional one-year option. Notably, he becomes the second player from Free State Stars to make the move to Sundowns. Womé Dové, at 21 years old, now looks forward to a new challenge, aspiring to secure a league title or a trophy in South Africa as he continues to build his promising career.
