A source within the Zamalek Club’s board, under the leadership of Hussein Labib, revealed the board’s stance after the Administrative Court’s decision to exclude Hossam El Mendooh from the position of treasurer.
The second circuit of the State Council’s Administrative Court ruled today on the validity of Zamalek Club’s elections, with the exception of the treasurer position contested by Hossam El Mendooh.
A Zamalek Board Source: Hossam El Mendooh Will Appeal.
The source confirmed to “Al-Watan Sport” that the entire position of the Zamalek board is legal, and the board continues to function normally.
Any statements to the contrary are baseless.
The source pointed out that Hossam El Mendooh has 60 days to appeal the decision to the Supreme Administrative Court.
He will remain in his position until the court issues a final ruling. If he is officially excluded, elections will be organized only for the treasurer position, not for the entire board.
